This project is a study of line, shape, shadow, and contrast (ratio of highlights, midtones, and shadows). The goal of this project is to demonstrate an ability to accurately interpret and render a photograph in black and white only.

Color Portrait

In this project, I rendered a photographic portrait using vector tools. This is a study of line, shape, contrast (ratio of highlights, midtones, and shadows), color, gradation, and the spectrum of realism/abstraction. The goal of this project is to demonstrate competency, ability, and complexity.

Icon Design

In this project, I illustrated 3 vector icons from a sketch I draw myself. This is a study of dimension, texture, geometry, symmetry, simplification, and realism vs abstraction. The goal of this project is to demonstrate competency and ability.
